A site visit, organised by BCMESL, and involving The
Highland Council, Scottish Natural Heritage and the Scottish Environmental
Protection Agency, during construction of the first course at the Castle
Stuart golf resort. In this instance, a links
course is being developed on former farmland, by using the in-situ sandy
materials available on-site, (this was not previously sand-dune habitats),
immediately adjacent to the environmentally sensitive Moray Firth.
